Here at Resources North East we have many years of experience training staff from various organisations and businesses. Our range covers standard content courses to fully bespoke training to enable your business or organisation to develop your skill base to suit the needs of your market place.

We can help you with your staffing requirements through our many contacts in all fields of recruitment, and of course if you require an apprentice we will help recruit and train the ideal candidate for your team.

However, we have many partners who we have built relationships with over the years and can rely on to help us offer training and advice in many different fields.

Incentives

Employers with newly hired apprentices who are aged between 16 and 18 are entitled to an incentive payment of £1000. This is paid in two installments of £500. The qualifying period for the first installment in 13 weeks employment. The second payment is made after 12 months employment.

CITB Incentives

Construction apprentices may be eligible for additional incentives through CITB, please refer to the CITB website.

Other grants

While you receive an Apprenticeship grant you can’t apply for any other grants for the same apprentice, except for short course achievements which are necessary, appropriate and not included within the Apprenticeship.

You must meet the cost of other additional training.
