For Students Aged 14-16 (Yr10-11)

Construction Skills Training

The student will work in our simulated construction training centre and will gain experience in Health & Safety, Bricklaying, Joinery and Painting and Decorating, the learner can concentrate on one sector area or have a go at all three before deciding which path to choose if they are unsure. They will gain life skills such as Team Work, Trade Discipline, Problem Solving, and British Values amongst the following accredited NOCN/CSkills qualifications

Qualifications

• Level 1 Award in Basic Construction Skills
• Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment
Functional Skills (optional)
• Maths
• English

Fees

Registration and PPE (Safety Boots, HI VIS, etc.) are £60 per learner.
Daily charge based on 1 learner, up to 4 days per week will be £60 per day per learner (Multiple learners will be £50 per learner per day).
Functional Skills are £400 per qualification or £700 for both Maths and English per learner.
